A payment confirmation is evidence. The statement has to account for it.

It checks whether payments made it onto the statement.

Insured Guard compares confirmed payments against later statements for the same account. If a payment happened before the statement date and the balance still appears unpaid, it is surfaced as a missing payment credit.
